The Wyandotte Health Foundation and the REACH Healthcare Foundation are excited to announce the launch of the Rapid Equity Fund. This grantmaking initiative is designed to provide up to $5,000 to eligible organizations focused on serving Black, Brown, immigrant, refugee, and rural populations.

Collaborative Communities Grants

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the operating expenses of organizations and initiatives centering community engagement and/or voter advocacy, particularly through the lenses of the Wyandotte Health Foundation's areas of impact (providing access to primary healthcare services and addressing the impact of childhood trauma).

Resilient Communities Addressing Trauma Grants

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support organizations and initiatives preventing or mitigating the impact of childhood trauma for children, families, and communities in Wyandotte County.

Advancing Healthcare Practitioners Grants

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the professional development, recruitment, and retention of healthcare workers in Wyandotte County.

Advancing Behavioral Health Practitioners Grants

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the professional development and retention of direct service providers mitigating the impact of childhood trauma in Wyandotte County.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered as a potential Wyandotte Health Foundation grantee, your organization must:

1. Be a non-profit or public entity.

2. Demonstrate that all funding will be used to serve Wyandotte County residents.

Funding Restrictions

In general, the Wyandotte Health Foundation will NOT award grants for the following:

1. Direct support to individuals for projects or scholarships.

2. Budget deficits or debt reduction.

3. Activities that exclusively benefit members of sectarian or religious organizations.

4. Efforts that directly influence legislation or support candidates for office.

5. Annual fund drives or events.

6. Building/capital campaigns.

7. Medical research.

8. Direct lobbying efforts.
